A Kind and Inspiring Partner in Change: Remembering Ali’s Impact

July 16, 20251 min read

I'm very saddened to hear about Ali's passing so I wanted to send my condolences to all of her family and friends and colleagues within social work and justice services.

I manage the NHS Forth Valley Keep Well service and I started working with Ali several years ago on the Tackling Inequalities, Improving Outcomes programme. Her desire to effect service changes with clients at the centre was always evident. She was always very positive and friendly to work with and we met on several occasions over the past years to develop our Keep Well partnership work - supporting CJ clients with their health, in order to improve their wider employability & destination outcomes.

My Keep Well team are also saddened to hear of her passing.

She was a kind, caring and inspiring colleague and will be greatly missed. I'm unable to attend her funeral this Friday but will be thinking and praying for her and those who have lost her. May she rest in peace.

With very best wishes Joanne xx
